JE Ledger respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to any text messages we send. Effective October 27, 2026.
Information we collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you choose to provide: your name, phone number, email address, the service you need help with, how you heard about us, and any message you send. With it, the form records the page you sent it from and the site that referred you. We collect this so we can respond to your request and talk through how we can help.
When you use the chat assistant on this website, we collect what you type into it: your name, phone number and question, your email address if you add one, anything else you choose to tell it, the language you write in, and the chat itself. A copy of the chat comes to us with your details so we can follow up.
Any financial or business records you later share with us as a client are handled separately, with care and confidentiality, and are never posted publicly or sold. This website itself does not ask you to submit sensitive financial documents through the form or the chat, so please do not put account numbers or Social Security numbers in either.
Like most websites, we may also collect standard technical information such as your browser type, device, and the pages you visit, through cookies and basic analytics. This helps us understand how the site is used and improve it.
How we use your information
We use what you send us for:
- Answering your request or message and arranging a conversation about your books.
- Following up on your inquiry and answering your questions.
- Text messages, only if you opted in to them.
- Improving our website, so we can see which pages people find helpful.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate our business, such as the services that host this website and process form submissions, or when required by law. We also share your chat messages with the AI providers that run our chat assistant, which processes them to write its replies.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use cookies and analytics tools to measure traffic and understand how visitors use the pages. You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling them will not stop you from using the site.
Text messages (SMS)
We only send text messages to people who opt in. Giving us your phone number on its own does not sign you up for text messages. That includes a number you leave in the chat on this website. If you text or WhatsApp us first, we reply to that conversation and nothing more.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, or STOP to opt out at any time. The full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete the information you submitted through the site. Our chat system keeps chat conversations for no more than 180 days after the last message, then deletes them. The copy of the chat sent to us with your request is kept the same way as a request sent through our form. Contact us using the details below and we will take care of it.
